Cozy Sophistication
When I first met with the homeowners at this beautiful 90’s-built colonial home in Mahwah, NJ, they were stuck on how to implement their style while having two kids and a dog. There were a lot of things on their checklist: functional, but fun; cozy, but also airy; kid-friendly, pet-friendly, host-friendly; moody and sophisticated, but not too luxe that no one wants to use the room. So with plenty of collaboration and the help of the friendliest pup in the world, we nailed down exactly what they had hoped for in their (maybe forever) home.
